      We find new stars, planets and solar systems every day! The biggest star we have found so far is the VY Canis Majoris – which is about 2,000 bigger than our sun! But our sun is hotter, our sun is 5,500C the VY Canis Majoris is a cool 3,220C. The VY Canis Majoris is too far away for us to even see it here on earth with our naked eye. We need to get a good quality telescope to even see it!
