Good question! This year the government released a document called the climate action plan which details the actions and tasks to reduce our impact on the climate. This was based on recommendations from a citizens assembly. Earlier this year Ireland declared a climate and biodiversity emergency. In my work the key action is to make sure that in 2030 that 70% of the electricity on the network comes from renewable sources.
