• Question: What is the worst affect of gobal warming in your opinion?

      Climate change is a huge issue facing us today. Some of the biggest problems include hotter drier weather in parts of the world where there is already very little water, and increased storms and hurricanes in very poor countries which cannot afford to rebuild.

      Closer to home climate change is causing increased flooding events in our own country which are damaging peoples properties and in the future may make it difficult to live in certain areas.

      We all need to help out and do our little bit to help ourselves and our neighbours.

      The worst affect is that there is nowhere that is completely safe from the impacts of climate change, unfortunately. Hopefully we can reduce the impacts by actions we take now!

      Extinction. We share this little planet with the bees and trees. All species have evolved to change to our/their habitats over time, but now the habitats are changing too fast for many species to adapt.
      I got to swim in the great barrier reef a couple of years ago and I’m pretty sure the next generation won’t get that chance. Saying that, there are some resilient animals and plants, I’ve no doubt that some species will adapt and survive but the world may never be the same.
