      Ooo that’s a very difficult question to answer. Even though I’m a geologist I don’t know every single rock type!! There are so many different ones that people know the most common ones and then different kinds of geologists will specialise in a specific kind of rocks. I specialise in sedimentary rocks! Minerals forms lots of different precious stones some of which can be rare.
