      It is believed that dinosaurs went extinct due to giant meteorite hitting Earth about 66 million years ago. However, dinosaurs didn’t disappear just overnight in one big explosion. The impact damaged the environment quite badly and it took several thousands of years for dinosaurs to completely disappear.
