• Question: How long do you usually take looking at sandstone

      So there is a process, first I will look at it in the field, take notes and take photographs of it. Then I will take a sample and take it back to my lab. Then I will process the sample and get it ready for analysis. I will look at it under a microscope, and I will analyse it with a laser and a mass spectrometer. I spent 4 years looking at the same sandstones for my PhD, they have soo much information in them!!
