      Yes they do. Water is involved in a lot of chemical reactions that happen in rocks, changing minerals from one form to another or breaking them down over time. All groundwater, water we use to drink or water that comes to the surface as springs and rivers flows through rock under the ground! The chemistry of the water is even affecting by the type of rock it flows through
