      That’s a good question! I’m not a climate expert but from my understanding for Ireland this could happen. So the gulf stream in the Atlantic ocean flows up from the Gulf of Mexico and brings water from the near the equator to Ireland. If a lot more of the ice melts in the Arctic, this will push this warm water further south and so it may not reach Ireland. So we could experience more colder weather than usual, including snow.
